Volunteer Overview
At the heart of our work is a dedicated community of volunteers who generously give their time, compassion, and energy to support seniors and individuals in need across Midtown Toronto. Whether delivering meals, providing companionship, or helping behind the scenes, our volunteers are essential to the programs and services we provide.
Through programs like Meals on Wheels and Farmers’ Markets, volunteers support seniors who face challenges and struggle to leave their homes by ensuring they have access to fresh, nutritious food. These efforts help promote food security and allow seniors to maintain their independence and well-being.
Volunteers also play a vital role in our dementia care programs, including the Adult Day Program, Ewart Angus Home, and Pine Villa Transitional Care. Their support – whether through social interaction, recreation activities, or assistance with meals – helps improve the quality of life for individuals living with dementia and provides much-needed relief to their caregivers.
There are many ways to get involved, and every role contributes to the well-being and vibrancy of our community. Whether you’re looking to make a difference one or two hours a week or more, we welcome your time and talents.
Join us in building a healthier, more connected future for seniors in our community.
