About SPRINT Senior Care:
We began caring for seniors and enabling seniors to care for themselves in 1983. We continue to do so today as an accredited, not-for-profit community support service agency in Toronto by offering a wide range of practical and low-cost services to seniors and their caregivers. Our services help seniors stay safe, connected, and live as independently as possible, and prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization.
Position Type:
Bargaining Unit Position; Full-Time, Contract (Contract Length: 8 Weeks) 35 hours per week
Reports To:
Supervisor, Community Transportation Services
Work Location:
In person
What you will do:
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Assist and support the Transportation team with client ride coordination; scheduling; responding to inquiries from clients and the public, and SPRINT Senior Care team members
- Preparing reports and analyses
- Prepare and distribute transportation materials
- Quality and risk management activities
- Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Provide feedback as to how to improve programs and services
- Prepare communications and program materials
- Maintain and update digital records
- Other tasks as assigned
What you will bring:
- Enrolled in or completed a post-secondary program.
- Experience working with a transportation program is an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent map reading skills and knowledge of city streets

Pay:
18.60 per hour
