About SPRINT Senior Care:

We began caring for seniors and enabling seniors to care for themselves in 1983. We continue to do so today as an accredited, not-for-profit community support service agency in Toronto by offering a wide range of practical and low-cost services to seniors and their caregivers. Our services help seniors stay safe, connected, and live as independently as possible, and prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization.

Position Type:

Bargaining Unit Position; Full-Time, Contract (Contract Length: 8 Weeks) 35 hours per week

Reports To:

Supervisor, Community Transportation Services

Work Location:

In person

What you will do:

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Assist and support the Transportation team with client ride coordination; scheduling; responding to inquiries from clients and the public, and SPRINT Senior Care team members
• Preparing reports and analyses
• Prepare and distribute transportation materials
• Quality and risk management activities
• Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Provide feedback as to how to improve programs and services
• Prepare communications and program materials
• Maintain and update digital records
• Other tasks as assigned

What you will bring:

• Enrolled in or completed a post-secondary program.
• Experience working with a transportation program is an asset.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent map reading skills and knowledge of city streets

Pay:

18.60 per hour
